Overview

Map Conflict Scanner & Resolver is a standalone in-game tool for FiveM that scans started resources for map assets and surfaces conflicts directly in the world. It inspects .ymap, .ytyp, .ybn, .ydr, .ydd, .ytd and .yft files, parses and hashes files on the server, and presents each conflict with a world marker and an editable preview.

Key features

  • Full server scan of started resources with per-file parsing and hashing.
  • Detects duplicate files, double-placed props, overlapping occluders, duplicate collisions and archetype conflicts across ytyp/ymap files.
  • Auto-resolve queue for safe fixes (identical duplicates, double placements).
  • Manual resolve with keep, move or remove decisions and in-world preview of both sides.

In-game editing tools

The tool includes an occluder editor and collision editor with a native gizmo: move, rotate and resize boxes or bounds, extrude faces, merge or shrink occluders, and write edits back into the ymap. X-ray rendering, color-coded world beams and a right-click world action menu speed up navigation and fixes.

Workflow & safety

Filters let you narrow results by resource, file type or asset kind. Changes can be undone (Ctrl+Z). Applying edits creates timestamped backup bundles and uses SHA1 verification so bundles can be restored if needed. The tool also reports per-resource streaming weight and warns about files likely to exceed streaming limits.

Notes

  • Standalone — no framework required; key bindings are remappable using FiveM key mappings.
  • Source code and releases are available on the project's GitHub repository.
