Soapy’s Storage & Carwash
Your car looks terrible. Your apartment is full of junk. Conveniently, Soapy’s has a solution for both. This free FiveM MLO drops a carwash, storage business and rental office into the Sandy Shores / Route 68 area and turns another forgettable roadside spot into somewhere players might actually stop.
A carwash and storage business is exactly the kind of boring real-world place that makes RP cities feel less fake.
Not every map addition needs to be a nightclub with laser beams or a mansion with seventeen bedrooms. Sometimes what a server needs is a believable little business sitting where players naturally drive past it — something useful, ordinary and easy to build stories around.
Soapy’s gives Sandy Shores a new everyday location: clean the car, rent a unit, use the office, meet somebody out back or finally find somewhere to put all the stuff your character has been “temporarily” storing for six months.
// VERY IMPORTANT STORAGE BUSINESSOne roadside property. Several very different excuses for players to be there.
Actual Carwash Location
Give vehicle owners somewhere physical to bring the car instead of making “clean vehicle” another command buried in a menu.
Storage Units
Storage units give the property an obvious RP purpose for personal storage, business use or whatever strange collection your players insist is completely normal.
Rental Office Interior
A new interior for the rental office gives staff, owners or players a proper place to handle storage-related roleplay instead of standing outside next to a marker.
A New Desert Stop
The map adds another point of interest around Sandy Shores and Route 68 — exactly the kind of area that benefits from more believable everyday businesses.
Working LODs
Optimized working LODs are included so the property can transition more naturally as players move through the surrounding area.
Source Available
The release is publicly available through GitHub as well as the free Tebex package, subject to the included license conditions.
Nobody needs a tutorial to understand what happens at a carwash and storage yard.
Give a player the keys and suddenly you've got another believable local business.
Soapy’s works naturally as a player-run property, a background business or simply a useful map location. Add your own storage, billing, vehicle cleaning or job script if you want deeper mechanics — the MLO itself gives those systems somewhere believable to happen.
Player-Owned Business
Turn the place into a small local business where somebody actually has to care whether the wash bay is open and who forgot to pay for Unit 12.
Quick Stop Before the Car Meet
There is always one person who arrives with a car that looks like it spent the afternoon driving through the Alamo Sea. Soapy’s can fix the visual embarrassment.
Character Storage RP
Storage units are perfect for characters between homes, businesses needing overflow space, collectors or anybody whose backstory somehow involves seventeen boxes and absolutely no questions.
More Life Outside Los Santos
Not every interaction should happen downtown. Adding small functional businesses around Route 68 gives desert communities more places to exist between the usual gas station and sheriff's office.
A simple roadside property that feels like it has always belonged in the area.
