FiveM Tattoo Studio ESX Legacy

MK Tattoos

A tattoo is supposed to be permanent. Having it disappear because somebody changed their outfit is slightly less convincing. MK Tattoos turns the usual FiveM tattoo menu into a proper studio experience: browse the catalog, see the ink on your character before paying and keep it after relogs, restarts and appearance reloads.

Tattoos deserve more than a dropdown and a purchase button

Let players actually look at the tattoo before making it part of the character.

MK Tattoos gives the tattoo shop its own visual flow instead of treating body customization like another inventory transaction. Players browse available designs through a dedicated interface, preview them directly on the character and only then decide whether the ink deserves the money.

No more buying something because the name sounded cool and discovering three seconds later that the tattoo is enormous, sideways and somehow sitting exactly where the shirt covers it.

01 / Flow
The tattoo shop finally behaves like an actual shop

Browse. Preview. Commit. Walk out looking like the character you had in mind.

01 / BROWSE Choose the Design Browse available tattoos through the dedicated custom UI.
02 / PREVIEW See It Live Preview the tattoo directly on the character before purchase.
03 / BUY Confirm the Ink Purchases are handled with server-side ownership validation.
04 / KEEP It Stays There Purchased tattoos are stored and automatically reapplied.
02 / Persistence
Permanent ink should probably survive a reconnect

Change clothes. Reload the skin. Restart the resource. The tattoo does not suddenly develop commitment issues.

// PERSISTENT CHARACTER DATA

Buy it once. Keep it on the character.

Purchased tattoos are stored permanently and automatically reapplied when the player's appearance is loaded again. That includes normal reconnects, resource restarts and appearance reloads through the supported character system.

This is one of those features nobody applauds when it works. They absolutely notice when it doesn't.

// STILL TATTOOED
03 / Appearance
No need to throw away the appearance system you already use

Built to work with illenium-appearance instead of trying to replace it.

MK Tattoos integrates with illenium-appearance, allowing tattoo ownership to stay connected to the player's character customization flow instead of becoming a completely separate island.

01 Appearance · Reload

Outfit Changes Don't Wipe the Ink

Tattoos can be reapplied after appearance reloads, helping the character keep the same visual identity when clothing and skin data are refreshed.

02 Position · Preview

Put the Character Where the Tattoo Can Actually Be Seen

The system includes smooth character positioning and preview behavior so players can inspect designs instead of trying to judge body art while the camera is staring at the back of their head.

03 Animations · Shop

Make the Shop Feel Like a Place

Clean animations and interaction flow help the tattoo studio feel like part of roleplay rather than a configuration menu that happens to be standing inside a building.

04 Ownership · Server

Purchases Are Checked Server-Side

Ownership and purchase validation are handled server-side rather than trusting the client with the important part of the transaction.

04 / Configure
Your tattoo economy should not be decided by somebody else's server

Put the shops where you want them, charge what makes sense and decide what each studio can offer.

01 Locations

Custom Tattoo Shops

Configure tattoo shop locations around your own map rather than being locked into one hard-coded studio.

02 Prices

Your Economy, Your Prices

Tattoo pricing can be configured so a tiny wrist design and a bigger character decision do not have to cost whatever the default happens to say.

03 Categories

Organize the Catalog

Categories can be configured to keep larger tattoo libraries easier to browse.

04 Collections

Control What's Available

Available tattoo collections can be configured through accessible configuration files while the protected core remains under CFX Asset Escrow.

05 / RP
Character customization gets way better when it becomes part of the story

A tattoo shop can be more than somewhere players visit once during character creation.

01 Character · Story

Let Characters Change Over Time

New tattoo after joining a crew, memorial ink after a major RP arc or simply a terrible late-night decision — persistent tattoos give those choices somewhere to stay.

02 Business · Studio

Give Tattoo MLOs Something to Do

Pair the script with a tattoo studio interior and the location stops being decorative. Players now have an actual reason to walk through the door.

03 Identity · Style

Make Characters Easier to Recognize

Tattoos add another layer of visual identity beyond clothing and hairstyles — especially for characters who have been on the server long enough to develop a history.

04 Preview · Decision

Make the Purchase Part of the Moment

Live preview gives the player time to actually look at the design, compare options and decide instead of turning body customization into blind shopping.

06 / Technical

MK Tattoos / Advanced FiveM Tattoo Studio

Character customization gets a lot more personal when the choice is supposed to stay.

MK Tattoos combines a modern browsing interface, live character preview, persistent tattoo ownership, configurable shops and pricing, illenium-appearance integration and server-side purchase validation into one focused tattoo system for ESX Legacy servers.

Preview before buying. Because laser removal isn't in the config.
